At 37, I'm a little behind you. My 2 kids are 10 and 7...and they BETTER NOT be making me a grandpa ANY TIME SOON!! LOL!

Congrats Doug. You will never believe the joy he will bring to you. Everyday something new. I have been Grandpa to my daughters son now for almost 4 years. I have his first steps on video. He now attends headstart 4 days a week and loves it. He even has his own 73 ATC 70. I can say all of this as my wife and I have custody of him and have had him since he was 4 months old. By the way I just turned 71.

I married a cougar. She had this child when she was 18. My other two were born by the time I was 26.

Im actually glad they are all grown up and out of the way now. I have two 19 yolds and a 28 yr old.

Don't want to burst your bubble but don't get too comfortable empty nesting, we did...... then, Middle one (22) and the "mommy" of Pappy's boy moved back in before Christmashttp://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-char090.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php). 19 yr old just moved back in last week. Told us today she lost her jobhttp://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-angry002.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php). 25 yr old graduates college with a masters degree in may, No job lined up yet so guess where she might end uphttp://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-signs095.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php). Just saying bud.... Sorry I digress....Enjoy the little one, time flies by even more quickly than when we raised our own.http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-signs003.gif (http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys.php)

Its funny you said that,MR SOUND. Deonna and I were just talking about that today. We expect some "reverse migration". We both agreed that we only get about 15 minutes of empty nest. I was just thankful to get that 15 minutes early enough in life to enjoy it while I could still get around hahaha!

Im not technically empty yet. Son lives here and goes to college. The other 19 yo is away at college and the oldest girl with a new baby lives out of town and is a teacher. So i have one at home, one at temp college housing, and the oldest owns a house so im still in the early stages lmao

Most of my friends my age have kids in elementary school.
