85 125M electrical problems

First off, this is my Rokon I am asking about, but I'm sure the mods won't mind me posting here since it's a trike motor. Here's the problem, when I first put the 125M motor in my rokon everything worked, lights, electric start, charging system etc. That motor was a little tired so when I found a really low hour 125m, I swapped the motors. The electric start and the headlights didn't work on the low hour bike, but when I put the tired motor in the trike chassis, they did. The exact opposite happened with my rokon. So I'm assuming the problem is in the motor. Does anyone have any ideas of what I could check? Thanks

that would be the stator assembly. the stator assembly may be different or the wiring may be different. you will probebly have to manually do some wiring to get everything working right. also you need to sue all the elctronics from the 125m for it to run and work right. the reason is the cdi, stator, coil and such are all different and will not work for different motors well.

my suggestion:
get 125m harness
get 125m cdi, coil and such

install these on your rokon and that should fix the issue.

The rokon has the 125M wiring harness, cdi, coil, etc from the tired bike on it, sorry for the confusion
