85 250r cases repaired by BDT

Back in 09 I was out trail riding my 85 250r and the piston skirt intake side blew and damaged the cases.Left side had a hole and couple cracks.Right side has several cracks.This past January I contacted BDT about repairing my cases.Carlos called me back I told him what I neede and he said send the cases to them.I sent my origonal left case and a spare right case that had less damage.I got them back last week and all I can say is WOW they did a great job.211362 211364 The right case had oil drain plug striped and the rear threaded hole for the kickstart ratchet retainer was missing the top half. 211365 211366211366

I have a set of cases there right now being repaired.

When I get this motor back together Im going to send my other left case down to have the case saver mount repaired.BDT price was very fair.For the repairs and shiping both ways I have $170 into these cases.I had a localwelder quote me $150 for just the welding.Cases in worse shape on ebay are around $200 or more for just the left side.
