I have been slowly working on get my x back up and going. Had it about 6 years now but it hasn't really been out of the garage for the last 2. Got lucky and picked up a really clean all stock motor from ditchmud. 211457211458 211456

Those pics didn't come out right. The one with my daughter was from trikefest a couple years back and the other one from a month ago. This is how it's sitting as of now. The motor is in and I'm working on getting the brakes up to par. I add a +2 westcoast, but it has made the rear shock really soft, so next on the list is having that rebuilt and resprung for my weight. Thinking about eather switch out the front for the 84 250r setup or maybe some progressive springs.211473

Picked up this carb and intake the other day. Sort of cool that it has a adapter for the stock air box boot, never seen another one quite like it.211685211686

Put some fresh powder on the swingarm last night, couldn't get it to lay real smooth. Not sure if it was the powder or the operator, but it's a rider and I have no urge to strip it again so I went ahead and put the decals on and bearing in this morning. The carb I picked up ended up being a 30mm and from what I have read was to big, so I'm trying a 28mm flatside. Jetting close but still a little rich. Need to take it out and try to fine tune it.

If you haven't had the shock re-worked yet, call andy maul at Maultech ATV. He reworked my rear 200x shock and it was a VERY quick turnaround.

The best part is, he's in your state.

I talked with Andy and plan on sending it to him right after trikefest. He came highly recommend from Captain Weezy and he seems really knowledgeable. I wanted to have it and some motor work done before now, but other things had to take priority.
