Any Oregon duners on here?

I was out at Sand Lake Dunes last Saturday and saw a couple trikes and one really nice 85-86 250r. Just wondering if it belonged to anyone on here.

It's a whole different experience from dirt. LOL It was my first ever trip to the dunes but I am hooked now!

closest thing iv'e got to the dunes is gravel pits and snow lol. I'll definitely hit up some members on here if I ever make my way down there

My only complaint with riding in sand is it robs a lot of power, I have two 700xxx sport quads and they get strained enough.

yeah snow exactly the same way. Was out last week and the snow was starting to melt so it was super sticky but still cold out and she almost over heated, it was working so hard in 5th gear. Only good thing about the sticky snow was able to pack it into the lower portion on my rads for extra cooling!

Is anyone close to these dunes? My g/f is willing to let me go on my own dune vacation and not spend next year with her in some tropical place since she knows my dream of running a 2 stroke in the dunes.

I would love to find some members' on here who are semi local who ride there so I could plan a trip and bring my machine out. I already do the whole paddle tire thing but I am climbing coal hills not sand hills.

There needs to be a trike event put on at the oregon dunes! Anyone else agree? Seems like it would be a very ideal place for all us west coast guys and the die hard east coasters

I wouldn't be bringing a trike id prefer to ride a dirtbike in the dunes. But if someone would be able to put some information together who those of us not local for a trip it would be nice.

97420 is the zip code for Coos bay, Winchester Bay and Florance are close by. Sand Lake is about two hours north and is really small.

It sure did lol, I usually post in the rides,events section whenever i go out. That sand addiks page sure is blowing up fast too! Pretty cool to have so many local riders wanting to get together and have big ride sessions! I dig it!
