I was driving around on same trails Sunday and I noticed that it became alot easier to shift through the gears, I've only had the trike about 2 weeks and it was harder to shift but yesterday the shifting was smooth and easy should I be worried at all?? Doesn't feel like clutch is slipping at all just shifting got easier....has anyone experienced this?
tri again

ummm, yupp. but on a 250sx. not es.
Shift drum stopper was loose and eventually it wouldn't shift at all.
Now it's not hard to shift but definitely 'clicks' into and out of gear.
Hopefully yours is just happier that it's been running after sitting a long time?
Good oil? for wet clutches?
I DO qualify for dumb&^% diagnosis of the year.
Shifter was dragging on the case but of course, I imagined the worst.
If you do have to go internally, I would buy NEW bolts if anything came loose.
I think they are marked 8.8 metric, supposedly like grade 8.
I've just had an epidemic of broken bolts lately.
new trike?
Please check / change your gear oil in the rear axle.
