The carb on my 1985 250SX is completely shot and not rebuildable...so I got the only replacement I could find, which is Chinese and absolute crap. I should have known when it said it also fit about 30 other bikes/trikes. Anyways, I want a quality new carb and was wondering if I anyone had any ideas or knew of any carbs that I could interchange (like putting a 400EX carb on my 350x). Thanks!

Those Chinese carbs are junk. Guys have reported nothing but problems ranging from poor engine performance to cables not fitting right. There are a few guys who have reported success but not very many. I have a rebuilt carb ready to bolt on. Its been disassembled, cleaned, bead blasted, cold start mod, reassembled with a fresh rebuild kit, and most of all, its been tested. This carb was in beautiful shape when I got it and its perhaps the cleanest carb I've rebuilt so far. I have rebuilt many of these carbs and I have a mockup I use for testing them. It is an OEM QA series carb ready to go. 150.00 shipped to the lower 48.

Thanks. It works great and is a real time saver. It works just the same as it would in the trike.
