Hey guys...here's my situation. I have an '84 ATC 200M that won't crank over with the electric start. The battery is brand new, and tested as good. So that's not the issue. When I turn the ignition key on, the neutral light doesn't light up on the dash, and the headlight won't light up either (bulb is good). I can start the trike by turning the igntion key on and pull starting it. I pulled the headlight off to make sure there weren't any loose wire connections in there - it all looks good. I know it's not the starter because it was working fine before, plus the fact that the neutral light or headlight won't light up with the ignition key switch on makes me think the problem is elsewhere. Oh yeah, the fuse by the battery is good too. Any ideas?

sounds like you may have a rusted connector or bad fuse. check the fuses on the front of the trike, and also check the fuse by the starter relay. check relay connections. can you take a screwdriver and jump across the relay and make it turn over? if it will, then issue is starter relay. if not then check voltage going to relay and work backwards.
good luck.

Where are the fuses on the front of the trike? I thought there was only the one by the battery, which is good. Why won't the headlight and neutral light come on when the ignition key is turned to "ON"?

Could be a bad ground. Check your ignition switch for any frays on the wiring. Also check where the wires are soldered to the ignition switch.
