Confused/ Help w 200x

ok i posted a question the other day, but no one wants to answer me so i went forward on my own, but i still have the same problem. 85 200x. i just rebuilt the motor w/10.25:1 weisco, xr200r cam, Dg Exhaust ,rebuilt carb w/120 main jet, lowered front sprocket tooth to 11, uni filter. Ok here's the deal! Its acting better than with the 115 jet, but is still seeming to run out of power at the top end of each gear. The idle seems to be ok after i ride it, yet everyonce in a while it wants to idle up a little (maybe b/c it is still to lean?) . I'm going to try and richen it up on the slide needle. I'm going to check the timing and valve lash again tomorrow, but it should me right. The timing was right and the valves were set at .002 I just need some more help from someone. I'm suppose to ride this weekend, PLEASE HELP ME!?

you should try to read your plug and see what it is like.if it is falling off at the top of every gear you might be to rich.maybe it is starving for air with all the mods you have,or maybe you have to drop the main jet down a little more.

Your engine's power curve is probably falling off at the time you claim "running out of power" That engine does not really spin high rpm's so this may be normal. I have the same engine but am running a WEBCAM that I believe will have stronger top end than an XR cam. Also, you may want to gear up to take advantage of the stronger torque that you may be making. Just my opinions here.

Depending on how high you are reving it, you might be "floating" the valves with that longer duration cam. I'm not sure there is a revlimiter on the '85 200X's so it seems plausable. Does it only happen at full (pegged) throttle?.
