Hey k&n filter owners,I need to know how big the opening is on the opening on the filter is. What is the true name for the z,like a 4-zingers name is yt60s,I need to know what a tri-z is called.Any pics would be cool. And how much can I get one for. thanx

YTZ250N for the 85
YTZ250S for the 86

If you are using a clamp-on type, they are universal, and you go by the carb intake diameter. They have different size rubber boots on them. Dont get one specifically for a Tri-Z unless you are going to use the TriZ airbox.

After installing a K&N do you need to Rejet or adjust anything ?
Do any of *Edited* recommand Pre-filter's ?

You'll have to jet a little richer most likely.

I love my pre-filter. It keeps that cake off the K&N and makes cleaning easier.
