The guy said it ran when they wrecked it.. Im buying a new set of forks from waterpumper 8) The story is the shop rebuilt it and the guy ran into a cement barrier in 4th gear pined. so he brought it back to the shop and left it so i bought it from the shop

i am surprised a shop is able to just sell some ones property like that with out letting them know even if they did leave it there it doesnt seem right. there might be more to it but that doesnt sound right if i got in a bad axident and my bike was in the shop and i wasnt able to tell a family member about it and a year later my bike is gone i would snap

I bet it hurt quite a bit to hit hard enough to bend the forks that bad.. I bet he was scared of it afterwards..

I have no idea.. all i know is it is mine now :D Tommarow im gonna clean it up some.. I found out why it wasnt firing.. the spark plug boot was loose.. :D I hope to get it runing tommarow.. then get some forks asap..

with a collision like that it is hard to beleive there was no severe frame damage. i mean fourth gear pinned is pretty darn fast. i would definetly check it out.

The frame dont look bent at all.. the forks took all the force.. the frame has no buckels or anything that i can see.. yea thanks again Jason..

heres the story on th crash


im the one who crashed it into the wall no damage tho,

no not really heres the reall story, the guy and his buddy were rideing on a unfinished highway or freeway or soemthing, they were htting soem little ramps and his little friend was like wow looks easy, so he hope on and does it like said, he htit the ramp in 4th gear get whip lash looks up and grabs the brakes he was still goin gull speed when he hit the wall they said he was probally going 40 45 or so,. the guy didnt get hurt really bad but he did walk away he flew over the bars he had huge bruses i gues all over his legs got knocked out when he hit the ground and was scraped up bad , the way ths little mexican guy described it it sound worse then how i did, but the moral o the story is dont let you dumb friend ridea fas 250r!!! the gy was aware that hs trike was beign sold the shop was gunna give him the money btu im shure they had a deal in it.

When you get the triple clamps off, check the steering stem really good to see if it was bent too.

Im getting new forks soon dont worry.. Im not gonna ride it much till then.. I got a blaster to fix :D

I tore the front end off.. Need forks, triples, and probly a front axle.. it has like a 2mm wobble in it.. think i would hurt to run it??

Those shocks look like the ones that were on my motorcycle when I bought it. They guy that had it before ran it into the back of a hay wagon :D . Fine for me, I got it for cheap. I had to replace the shocks, tripple tree and rim, of course I searched all of last winter and could only find one pair of strait shocks which were $130 :( . Since I have bought them it semms like everybody is parting one out, I have seen at least 5 pair on ebay for less then $30, I guess that is how it goes though. Good luck with the 250r!
