Next to the thanks, thumbs-up, and thumbs-down buttons we need a "That sucks big time" button, because that sucks big time! My condolences, but don't worry, you'll come across another frame.

Any loose bearings to lead us here,or just huge air :)

Ouch! Looks like the lack of a skid plate and plugged drain holes put together a 29 year plan to snap your frame in half. Better luck on your next one, keep the holes open and don't be scared to shoot some oil in there once every few years. Ricochet sell skid plates for the YZ490 that fit the Tri-Z

Thank you sir, I realized that a skid plate would have prevented this, it's a sad day but I'm going to rebuild. It will be a fresh start, basically a brand new machine, the glass is half full!

Well, no skid plate for xxx amount of years would have been a huge factor, I was out riding with a group of dirt bikes, this 29 year old girl stayed at the front of the pack all day without even breaking a sweat, she really showed those bikes who's boss until the inevitable "final jump"

Off topic, but have you ever watched a heard of dirt bikes try and cross a small creek with slimmy rocks in it<----FAIL

Yep, three is a lot easier in that situation:lol: but if you must do it on two there are methods... Whenever I have to do what I call a "blind water crossing" on two wheels I take a deep breath, stand up, relax my arms and look for the best place to get up the other side, just like riding on any other surface. What's right in front of you is already in your past as it applies to choices, so mantaining your speed and expecting to "make it" is the best way. Yes I've gone over the bars a couple times like this, but it's still works 9 out of 10 times which is a lot better than trying to look through the water 12" in front of you when some guy on a trike is splashing you!:w00t:

^ Find a lip, lean bike against a tree, kick the lip with your boot a few times, smooth it out, get on bike hit it in 4th gear, clear the water then wait for your wet buddies on the other side, cruise around finding overgrown trails while your buddies drain their boots...piece of cake.

As usual, I hadn't enlarged the pic, just glanced through. Wow, she was holding on by paper... Tri z owners check your frames! What a mess.

Have someone weld a piece of 1/4" steel plate to the bottom & repair it. It's not like the main frame busted in half, solid skid plate/mad max technology!
