I'm looking at 1 on Craigslist, thinking about trading him my 87 moto4 350 that need's some work the 250r need's a top end rebuild he said the cylinder will need honed but i don't think any place around me dose that also need's a full break system. i was wondering if there was a reliable place to send the head out to? and how much it would cost.

I use these guys

You would have to know exactly what it needs but honing starts at- $35 bucks

.
why do you want to send the head out?
you can call some local motorcycle or jey ski shops and ask them who bores their cylinders . . you need to have it measured . . if it is worn too much, you will need a new piston and rings and a bore job.

A 250r brake system should not be too hard, post in the classifieds and check EBAY.

BTW where have you been BiGDawG?
I have not seen you here in a while, still horse trading I see, a 250r for that quad seems like a heck of a trade unless the 250r is dust and what is the other guy thinking?, he must want to go hunting?

Any brake that fits the 200x should fit first and second gen R's as long as you get the correct mounts.

Just been stalking the forums here and there not much of a poster lol, yea he said he don't have any 4 wheeler that's why he's interested in it i guess, I'll attach a photo of the 250r it's the only 1 he has posted and he's currently up north.
I was wondering that cause it pretty much looks like a 200x lol
still wish i never got rid of the tri-z in my sig pic.. been kicking my self ever since i got rid of it.
