hey everyone. just bought my first 3 wheeler. 85 200x. its got an enduro motor but thing runs great. plenty for what i need. rebel flags will be coming off. just not my thing. its not a beauty queen and needs cleaned up. wiring routed, parts properly mounted and brakes reinstalled. after that ill have some fun with it before stripping it to repaint the frame and really go through it. hopefully ill get time to get the front caliper rebuilt and reinstalled this weekend to at least go around the block without worrying too much about someone pulling out.

Welcome! I don't recognize that motor at all? What cc is it? And please put some brakes on it before you go riding.

BTW I was in Jupiter back in 84. A guy that came up to Canada to bear hunt with us invited me down. Good times!

at least the front brake is going on this weekend. the rear will need some work and maybe a little modding of the foot pedal. she already been disabled for a tune up this weekend.

its a 200cc enduro engine. i believe this is the lifan motor. i've read its somewhat a copy of the xr200. lifan has manufactured engines for honda, kawi, etc in the past, from what i've read on the internet at least. so i trust it :wondering. this is a newer motor. it does run good but time for a good tune up. it seems to be bolted right in at the stock locations from what i can tell. that header pipe was from the original honda motor.

i need a muffler desperately. from you can see in the pic, thats pretty much the whole muffler and the guy jerry rigged it. the slip on seal has basically created one huge exhaust leak anyway. way to loud. i need to be careful how much i spend to get it running well thought. need to wheel and deal. cant afford a brand new DG but the prices of rusty old stock mufflers with broken tabs is ridiculous. makes a new exhaust look cheap.

I was born in 84 lol. Jupiter is cool place. i could never move away. it sure isnt what you saw in 84 though. its grown. too much. but still the best place to be. wish i was a teenager in the 70s here.

hey shortline, where do you live? where do you like to ride? im totally new. going through a quick like (long/big) tune up. id like to ride a few times after im done then tear it down for a big resto/custom job. want to keep the black/red theme.

and where is your shop? may inquire to see if you have any old parts laying around that you'd want to sell.

not really a baseball fans but i've been to plenty of games at roger dean. if we get up on the roof of our house its a great view of their 4th of july fireworks.

Hey you need to get some kind of front shock boots on it soon you don't want those forks getting messed up.
