Hi all,

Recently picked up a 1985 ATC 70 for my daughter. It sat for over 15 years before I heard talk of it through a friend of a friend of a friend. Its in very nice shape on the outside but the gas tank was very rusty and the carb had a lot of rust in it too. Cleaned it all up and it runs so so, hoping to get some advice on the carb kit I bought because some of the parts in it didn't look exactly like the originals. Here's a picture of one happy 3 year old!!

Thanks for the great site.

:welcome: Nice photo of a happy little girl! But you can be honest with us, you bought it to ride also didn't you. LOL :D Actually better yet pick up another one for you, slip a larger pit bike motor in there and ride with her. Precious memory will be made and you will not want to stop riding a 70 with some added hp. Their additive for sure.

To help you out try Logan at Spangler's Sound and off road. They specialize in ATC 70 part. http://www.hondaatc70.com/Pages/default.aspx

You might be ahead just replacing the carb with a reproduction unit for only $49. Just be sure to add an in line full filter to help catch the tank rust partials you will likely get from your tank.

Direct link to their carburetor page...... http://www.hondaatc70.com/Pages/CarbsAirFiltersandIntakes.aspx

Mom may love her, but I think you might love her more. At least you didn't just get her a T-shirt. Only kidding.
