I have a Honda that I believe is a 200 ES but I'm not exactly sure and not sure of the year. I tried to use the online vin decoder but nothing came up. It was hard to see the stamped numbers but from what I gather it is JH31B055EC332275. Can anyone help me out with this I need to order new front fork bearings for it thanks

Look around the cylinder section around the motor. It wil tell you the displacement.

Correct 10th digit decodes the year

82 C
83 D
84 E
85 F
86 G
87 H

There should be a serial number on the engine as well

Your description sounds like a 1984 200ES.

The 4th digit is a T and you are missing a digit as you only have 16 and valid VINs from 1980+ are 17 digits. Change the 1 to a T and add any digit to the end and you have 82 200e Big Red
