300ex airbox tube

Does anyone know if this or a 400ex airbox to carb boot will fit a 350x with a 400ex carb?

Just bought a 400ex carb for the 350x and read about issues with fitment. I think someone mentioned a 300ex intake boot?

you can use a 300ex one.

I have the factory 350x one but was wondering if the 300ex airbox to carb tube is better / direct fit and perhaps larger to accommodate the larger carb? :wondering

I can take a picture of the stock 300ex set up if you would like to see it.
I chopped off the front end and bolted on a 84 250R front end on it over a year ago. Rebuilding the forks on it now.

John thanks for the reply! I have seen the intake and tube on ebay and I know it's been discussed on here prior (used the search feature) nut have been unable to determine if it in in fact bolt on and bigger than stock thus making it worth the investment.

Well if a measurement or something like that is needed,,, mine will be opened up untill sunday.

I'm just curious if it fits over the carb better than the stocker as I've heard you have to really coax the 400ex carb into the boot.
