2006 Summit - Potential Purchase

A co-worker has an 06 Summit 143" in nice shape with 2000K miles on it that quit on him last March. It sounds like it's seized from what he tells me. I think I can get it for 1K as is. Seems like that year motor is decent so I may just take a chance? Who knows it may be something really simple to get it going again? Anyone have experience with this model?

Turns out he sold it out from under me. Ya I should've jumped on it and would've after I had seen it. Sleds are out of my comfort zone a bit. He sold it while I was out of town for $1K.

You dodged a bullet.....I wouldn't feel too bad a new doo engine is around 2k....most of them are junk when they "quit" around here. I've done two 600's and two 800's from 01's to 07's in the last couple years...all "good deals" at the time.
