Ok, I need some expert advice and recommendations. First a little background on the trikes I currently have.
1981 185s. Bike runs ok, plastics are in bad shape on rear, mismatched tires, difficult for my wife and kids to start.
1984 200es. Currently in process of rebuild. Decent left rear fender, cracked but welded right rear fender, new top end rebuild. Needs front forks. Plan on this one to ultimately be the best out of the bunch.
1983 200e. Just picked this one up. Needs top end rebuild. Good right rear plastic, terrible left rear plastic. Good front forks, matching tires.
I plan on taking my time on the 200es to make it a nice trike. I will swap the right rear plastic with the 200e.
I think with the 200e I want to go budget with it. My first thought is to pull the top end off the 185s and use it on the 200e. From there I would just need to work the gremlins out of the 200e.
That leaves me with a 185s without a top end. I really do not have much need for a machine without electric start. I guess I could part it out.
Clear as mud now?
