I'm looking for an oversized air cleaner intake to fit my 36mm Keihin carb, since the stock setup is small. What filter setups are you guys running? The throat on my carb measures 62mm. I plan to just totally remove the stock air box.

Will the standard "K&N Eliminator kit fit my larger carb?

Uni makes a number of pod filters that fit most sizes of carb inlets. You can search on eBay and find almost any size that you need.

Here's the Uni filter catalog for universal fit . . If you use one of these, I would use the dual layer ones which are the red ones . . They come with a straight neck and a 15 degree neck so measure your clearances carefully so you get one that properly fits . . I don't like the K and N type filters for this app but others might.

You should also use foam filter oil but some people use engine oil but don't use a lot of either.

Thanks Barnett. I guess I didn't dig deep enough to see the dimensions during my previous search. I went ahead and ordered the Uni dual layer, 15 degree. I have plenty of 2.5" stainless tubing laying around from a Bronco exhaust build, so I plan to use it for routing the filter away from the rear shock and reservoir.
