My buddy has a 83 trimoto that is very near and dear to his heart and wants to get some new rubber on it. Problem is that it came with a 25x12-9. Options are somewhat limited in the 9" realm. What I want to do is put a less wide tire in the front to improve handling. I did this to my big red and it made a huge difference. I looked into changing the rim size but there again it has a goofy bolt pattern 4x125. Anybody have ideas or done anything about this? Thanks

I just put 3 of these on my yamahhauler. Very happy with them. They say 25x11-9 but they're almost identical to 25x12-9

You can use yamaha sport quad hub. That what I did on my YTM-225DX.

You can always narrow the wheel. The wicked X uses a narrowed 10" rear quad wheel for the front. Even had to cut the old mount flanges off and drill the lug holes. Narrowing a wheel for the stock hub would be easy as pie. If you want someone to build you one, pm me.
Road tested for over 2000 miles at speeds of up to 65 mph.
