Recently converted a yz426f using the vtx triples and such, everything is together but im really having a hard time figuring out the brake rotor/hub/caliper situation with the yz fork and brake system... everything I do either puts the wheel way too far to one side, or sucks the rotor too far into the wheel...I can't seem to find any combo of hub/rotor/wheel combos that work!!...I really need a list of stuff that will work in this setup... even if I have to grab different forks!!! I just want to ride it a few times before I have to tear it down for powdercoat!!

you just need to make spacers. I used a 86 200x hub on 3rd gen 250R front wheel when i put YZ forks on my 200x.

Do you happen to have any pics of your setup? Maybe I'm using the wrong hub, I got them from a salvage yard so I'm not entirely sure what year and model they are. No matter what combo of spacers I use nothing is working in harmony. I can get the wheel centered but the caliper will not even come close to fitting.

Do you have better pics of YOUR seup? Trikes real neat but we cant see what your issue is so its kinda tough to evaluate it for a solution. You haven't even told us what hub you are using. We can assume tri-z and we can be wrong.

If you are using a 3 wheeler hub, the disc and the wheel are fixed in relation to each other so your question is mighty peculiar. Let's see it.

Honestly I don't even know what hub it is, it was sitting in a pile at the atv junkyard and I grabbed it, its definitely Honda, I'm going to say 83+ 200x... Its about a inch narrower than my 85 250r hub. I'll try to get better pics tonight.

it's 1st gen 200x. You just need to center it and make spacers. any atc with USD forks are a custom jobber.

Machine a set of axle spacers to center the hub and then machine a adaptor/spacer to make the 426 rotor fit the hub. You need to do some close measuring to make sure the rotor is centered up in the caliper. Like mentioned above it's a custom job.

I know its a custom job... this whole thing has been a custom job......I was simply asking for other peoples input about the hub they used and if they had to space out the rotor from the hub....turns out the hub(s) I got were too wide (not even sure what year they were) and even when I narrowed down the hub itself it would NOT allow centering of the front wheel.... I picked up an 86r hub and used the spacers I had previously made and everything fell together perfectly.

I went through a similar headache with my 450 conversion. Had to further space my disc and the caliper itself to make it work. Glad to see you have it worked out, looking forward to seeing the finished product.
