I have done a lot of research and there really isn't much out there for indexing on race trikes for ice. Typically when indexing Kutters on rear 826's I have been told it should be done with the slots running parallel to the rear axle. This set up works well with quads that rely on solid rear traction. However with a trike you want some rear wheel spin which will allow you to corner faster. I put 30lbs of air in the rear tires and indexed the middle 4 rows with the slots running parallel to the rear axle. My question lies with indexing both outer two rows on each tire. Should I continue with the same indexing as the middle four rows? Should I index them opposite to the middle four rows? I am sure there are quite a few other guys out there with more ice experience than me and have the answers. My trikes are 85 Tecates built for TT and flat track.
