Hi, i need a us90 expert!

These parts are mine if i want them, the owner does not know alot about the parts. I think it may be a good restoration project.

I need help identifying the year of these parts. The engine vin number is confusing me as i seem to think there is one more number than there should be? I may be completely wrong.

The frame number is frame us90-217918. I think this suggests the frame is older than the engine?

There are many spare forks, one of which does not have the lugs for a headlight which would make it an early model i think.

The front axle and rear axle is missing and seat and wheels.

Yeah so can someone please clarify what i have here!

Thanks

I'm no expert, IMO there isn't enough US90 parts for a restoration, unless all that's needed is an '72-73 serial number frame. Too many engine numbers, don't believe Honda sold 900,000 units in only the first 3 years since it's inception. Two position front forks are aftermarket or someone modified a stock set. The no lugged forks are like '82 and newer. But really who can turn down free parts.....good trading materials.

Awesome thanks for your reply. I thought there was something weird going on with that engine number. I wonder why that is like that.

In the UK the chances of getting one of these trikes are extremely few and far between but the fact the the engine and frame numbers dont match is really putting me off trying to restore it! And shipping a seat/axle/tyres from the US would cost mega ££££.

Even trying to sell the parts may be difficult as there wont be many people looking in the UK.

Maybe i should leave this one and let my trike addiction calm down.

Cheers

The frame is a 72-73 and the motor is a 70-71.

I'm pretty sure I have a US90 axle from a 70/71 machine, but like you said, shipping would probably be killer. I started with a little less and desided to part it out because the engine was in poor shape and all of the tires were junk.

After looking at the photoed, I kind of remember one of the hubs being rust welded on, but I have an axle sitting in my house with the course splines like the US90's used, only owned 1 us90 and 1 76 atc90 though and I have 2 axles which I thought was one from each machine.. hmmmm.

Anyway if you do need parts and want to deal with the shipping, I'll try to make you a pretty fair deal of the things I have left.

EDIT: Forgot most of the US90/ATC90 parts I have for sale are listed on my site, not trying to spam it, but use it as a reference for photos of what I have left + a few things not listed (bolts and some engine parts). Prices are not exact and are pretty flexible. http://atcfixer.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1

Edit again: I also noticed the pulse generator cover is missing, I have one of them sitting in the "left" box for the us90. I could always test fit the axle I have in the center carrier I have to validate if it would work or not. Also see the headlight is missing, I might have one from a 110, but I'm not sure if it has the switch on top like the one in your other photos. I'm not a super expert on the machines so I'm not sure when changes were made. Also to point out, I can make a new wire harness too, ebay price is $35 so it would probably be around $30 for you on here.
