I traded off a Blaster for this “naked” beast Friday.

The PO rebuilt the forks and shock, new bearings in the triple tree, swinger and axles, powder coated the frame and stripped/repainted the engine.
I was told it was a 1985 but the design of the swingarm is from 1983. The powdercoating filled in the VIN so I’m sticking with 83 just to be safe.

Oh, the PO also modified a 660 Raptor front brake caliper to replace the missing original rear caliper. It's not perfect but works well.

That's not a raptor 660 caliper lol...they were never black. That's good old 200x Do not believe anything previous owners tell you. 83 and 84 200x's had black forks. Everything I see is 85, seat, rear shock, front fork legs.

The rear caliper is the one he dodged together. It only bites on half the disc though.
