227300Will be using 250r shock and linkage with durablue link

Can I use my Polly swingarm bushings from the 250 in the 450 swingarm ?is the O.D. Correct on them?
I can shave them down if they are too wide I'm thinking

Will be using the 250 bearing carrier . I understand I need to come up with two 1/8 shims for it , Do you recon I could just use two carrier snap rings stretched over the carrier on each side to shim it ?

Thank you

My steel swinger looks like shiet again and always wanted something better back there

Where the bushings go on the outside, is made onto the 450r swing arm. The ID is the same and you can cut them off flush, but the gap will be too big for the R bushings.

Piles of parts coming in the mail now

I see that you have to cut a little bit of the chain
Slider away , , I run a 15t sprocket ,is that going to be a bigger problem ?

Is a TMD slider a waste or a no go all together with a 15t
They are pretty chunky

As far as the bushings go, bkm should be able to make whatever you need if:

1. He still is making the delrin bushings

2. You can provide him with the proper measurements ID & OD

I'm still making the vintage bushings, 200x, 2nd & 3rd gen 250r, but not taking on any new projects unless someone supplies all measurements they want. I've got a 450r swingarm here, but don't like it's design to use Delrin bushings. I think it's best suited for modified oem components.

I got the OEM 450 and aftermarket 250 plastic delrin
Pivot bushing and a makita I'll make something happen there

I guess I will see if that big 15t sprocket will squeeze in there,if it's so tight you have to cut the slider ,
It makes me wonder

I bought two new brake caliper bracket snap rings,to use for carrier bearing spacers
To take up the 1/8 gaps I read about , kind of ghetto
But there shiny and strong , F-it

I have a 15 on mine. I had to cut quite a bit off the slider but it works fine.
