My Honda 200 m has been rock solid for probably 3 years,,,,the other day electric start wasn't getting juice. Disconnect battery jiggle around and it would start.I checked my inline fuse below seat and its good.Today and its cold outside ,nothing. Battery is on charger ,and I have a 12 volt battery directly hooked up .My green neutral light is on ,but nothing .....so Im throwing this out there ,Im sure someone can give me some direction...Thankyou all this site has helped me numerous times to give me three years of enjoyment.dave

Could be 1 of many things. Maybe try removing starter from motor & direct test it with jumper cables. Or you may have a faulty starter solenoid-but you can also try bridging the solenoid to see if it works when jumped 1st. But could also possibly be a fault in the starter button also. So youre gonna have to do some testing regardless....
Its not gonna be the voltage regulator at fault.

I jumped the starter solenoid ,and it started right up,,,,,,any thoughts,,,I guess tomorrow I'll take the starter switch off again,,I need to get tester,,,could that mean the relay is bad?

You mean you jumped the starter solenoid? (not relay-right?) Ok well-I would check the soldered in connections inside the starter button next. May have come unsoldered in there possibly. If not unsoldered-trace back the Green/red -Lt. Green/red wires to where they plug together...
