Ok so i made my usual mistake of not paying attention during disassembly. Lost in the excitement of new parts (lol)... when reassembling front forks on a 200x does the back up ring go with the "cup" side facing up or down? Also, which way does the actual seal face? Maybe dumb questions, but ive never done it before so hopefully one of yall can help. The manual just shows the order, not the direction the face. Thanks in advance228879228880

I believe the back up ring faces cup side up and the seal faces metal spring circle up. But it has been awhile since Ive been into 200x forks so I would wait until one of the experts can chime in

Flat side goes toward the bushing otherwise you can't drive in the bush.
The ring goes up so there is room for lubrication to the seal.

Ah ok that makes sense.i havent tried driving anything in yet bc i wanted to make sure the placement was right. And by ring, do u mean the metal spring side of the seal?

Sorry, my phone would not download pics before.
Yes in the first pic the part is correct.
The seal is upside-down though.
