I have a 97 Kawasaki KX 125 that needs rebuilt. The bottom end bearing needs replaced. The top end is Still good.
What I want to do is replace the bearing in the bottom end and put it back together with all new gaskets and piston rings for now until I do top end again. Any Idea what something like that would cost if I had someone else do the bottom end ? I get paid tonight and would like to have my bike back, it's been tore down since December

My machinist charges $75 to press the crank apart and put it back together and true it. A rod kit usually goes for about 100, and a crank bearing and seal kit is usually about 60. Add another 40 or so for a gasket kit, and there you have it.

Buy a crank kit, it comes with all the gasket and orings and everything needed to replace it all and is normaly cheaper. I just did it on my KX100 and it was $130 or so bucks shipped with new bearings and new crank. That would be a cost effective method, if anyone offers a complete kit. The trouble I always run into is my stuff is too old to get full cranks from the aftermarket.

well considering last year i rebuild a 1984 kx125 with hot rods crank your bike is easy. go to ebay or start to look at replacement parts before you buy. try rebuilind a KX before 1988...lol and there are tons of parts for them too.
