350x Restification finished !!!!!!!!!!! Pics.

I figured that I would start a new post with the finished project since the last thread had lots of pics. and probably killed the dialup guys. Here it is, a 1986 350x, brand new crate motor,rebuilt forks with 250r dampening rods, DG exhaust, K&N,+4 Durablue, new Front Max and Spider Tracs, Clarke tank, new headlight and Maier super scoops. It will have new plastic and seat cover by spring. Enjoy.

niiiiiice 350x ya got there. those spider tracs will do ya good. i had a set of 25x9.5x12 spider tracs on my atc200e that wuz modded to a quad with scrap metal. had honda car rims, the thing wuz painted cat yellow. but anyways, the only time i got it stuck wuz when i wuz goin down a quad trail with deep tire tracks and about 6-8 inches of muddy water in each, and the frame got stuck on the center arch of the trail, and we had the fenders off and were tryin to get it out, and my friend jumped on and gave it wide open, and those freakin tires put water 4 feet up in the air! and not just spray, it wuz thick water, it must have threw 20 gallons in the air easy in like 3 seconds! trust me, ull never get stuck with those bad boys on the rear. great tires, plus they're a heavy ply, i had to take my valve cores out and push air out of the tire just to get it to the right pressure. and they're side grippers, so tippin up on 2 works great as well. and by the way, i love that exhaust, were'd u get it and how much? anywho, peace out, tony.

Looks awesome 200xman! How is the suspension mods? I thought about doing that to my 350x with the 83/84 dampning rods, springs and then some heavier weight oil since I do alot of jumping with it. Did you buy the axle brand new or pick up a used one? I thought about an extended one but it might be to hard to get through Haspins woods!

Hey man, Nice X! What stage pipe is that? Did you notice a lot of power increase? I have a baja bar(similar to the desert) and it looks like it hits the bar? Does it?

The exhaust is stage 3 DG xcellerator. I got it from Dennis Kirk. I never rode the bike with a stock exhaust but it must have helped since it is faster than my friends stock 350x. The pipe just touches the grab bar. As for the sspension, in the little that I have rode it it seems to make a big difference. It has the 250r rods, 15w oil, 350x springs and 1" spacers. It does make the front end sit a little higher so I may slide the forks up a little. The axle was on the bike when I got it. For Haspin I will probably flip the spacers so it is only +2.

trikes looks very clean mine should look like that soon, i just got all new fenders and ordering new tires soon, right now it has spider trax 25x13.5x9 they go through every so your smaller ones should do almost as well, here is a pic with them on

I've got the same grab bar on my 350x with a corbra pipe and the grab bar covers a little of the hole on the silencer up. I've been thinking of buying the stage 1 xcellerator and running it with my corba headers. Does anyone know how well the cobra headers interchange with different silencers like the stocker, dg's, or a supertrapp? Are the dg xcellerator silencers adjustable with the amount of disks like a supertrapp?

200xman, nice looking bike! :-D I only have a 1 inch pvc spacer in my forks and what a difference that made, couldn't imagine the new rods also.

mine doesnt have those extensions on the left side of the grab bar, where the bolts go. i think i might just have to go and buy a bunch of washers, this sucks!!
