Tank is on the way Ironchop!! I included some fresh zinc plated shroud brackets and bolts and did a quick polish on the cap. I also included a pic of the filler neck area for bkm.:Bounce :beer and yes it needs a little more work.
I shipped it with Illumnati postal service, crap I forgot the first rule of Illumanti, we are never to speak of the Illumnati  :naughty:

Thats some awesome work!
I remember when I was down at his place, he was talking about how your doing the tank for him.
Gotta love the community for the work they do and the things they do for each other.
Now that he has a good looking tank, time to get the engine and everything else it needs Hoosier Daddy  :D

It was damn near solid white when I bought the roller off Eric. Badly sunfaded. Wish I had taken a before pic
Tremendous improvement.

Yeah I need to take the frame to work and blast it after I remove a couple broken bolts. And the swinger has a wee bit of chain rash to weld up because I'm picky.

As always, very nice work Mr. Clean.... How well did you polish the inside??? (Those corners can be a real pain to get to)

I wipe the underside with lacquer thinner, pretty much use lacquer thinner on the whole tank. Warm soap and water and lots of elbow grease.
The main issue post polish is how much will it spider crack, it's hit or miss once it's filled with gas. They still shine like a diamond. My stock 85r has it as well, my short tank did not.
