So today when i got done on my trike i gave it a good washing and especially all the mudd out of the engine area, but after i was done i tried starting it and no luck, so i check the spark because it wasnt even sounding like it was trying to start, the spark was very weak, no blue arc or nothing just a tiny weak one with no blue.
also i dont know if this contributes to it but my battery use to charge up after 30 mins of riding and i could use the electrical start, for a few weeks though it hasnt been charging at all. Could this be a bad stator? what would you guys check first. thanks!

Ok. As you found out today-water and electrical systems don't get along. Try blowing things out now. And you need a battery tender.

I wouldn't know because I stay out of the water for the most part. But I do run with dielectric grease on every connection.
Don't forget to unhook battery before you start. Swamps in Arizona?

JD110 has it right, dielectric grease in every connection will really help.

I have never used dielectric grease, learn something new everyday, i will pick some up tomorrow and apply it to all the conenctions, thanks guys
Fill the female side of the connector with a dab, you don't need to fill it full, it will all come out when the male plug goes in. Wipe off the excess.
