first off you need to take the engine out of the frame and then disassemble the top end to inspect for damage. You might pull the top end and realize you only need a hone and rings. If it does come to the point that you need to go up a size and get a piston and rings, weisco makes good pistons and rings. And do not forget to give the valves some love as well at least lap them. if you need to change the valve I recommend Vesrah valves.

Good luck w the rebuild. You will definitely need the service manual...try here for a digital copy:

alot of the time, smoke is from valve stem seal wear or rings/bore are worn , but its usually better to do a complete top end reco, because its not really feasible to just replace the stem seals and if rings/bore need replacing, then rebore and piston upsizing is mandatory. Definately get the service manual, these motors arent that difficult or technical, but good luck doing it without the manual, ....oh, and bring ya $$$ with ya!
