1985 250r crank play question

Checking the side to side x axis I get .005 play, up and down y axis I see .003. Thrust clearance ( in and out) is .007. I assume this is out of spec, but my question is what is normal? Zero play or is there a range? I didn't see anything In the service manual about it. Thanks

If you have 3 thousandths up and down, I'd get a new crank.

I agree with Steve. No measurable amount of up and down play is acceptable.
