I am a guy who recently (last November) moved back to my childhood area of Albany (area) NY. With space to breathe came opportunity, so a few trades on craigslist landed me a vintage dirt bike (now for sale) and more importantly a Kawasaki 200 (four stroke) ATC 3 wheeler. Gosh darn! I forgot how fun these things were! I had a really nice Honda 200x a few years back, and stupidly traded it away against my better judgement.
I am slowly becoming more motivated to find a nice two stroke ATC (tecate, tri-z, 250r), but it's really hard to find them. I am literally the only person I know of around here that has an ATC. It has 5 speed manual shifting, with no reverse. It does have a pretty nifty locking rear differential. It also sports electric start and standard headlight, brake light combo. Interestingly enough, it has what appears to be aftermarket metal heel guards/nerf bars. This makes the off-road ride quite comfortable and secure knowing it's a bit harder to destroy my feet (haha)
I did all the work to bring this four stroke lovechild of 80's glory back to running condition. It was a barn find, and I am super excited to say I took a long, muddy, wet, and glorious ride today and that thing is a TANK. It's not going to win drag races, but that granny gear gets the thing up and through some stuff that i didn't think it would make it through.
so anyways, just wanted to say hello. and here are pic(s) below (with my wife riding the kawi atc) for reference.
