The fam and I have spent the last few days out at our family farm and I finally got the X running. I got it to kick over a few days ago, but it idled like crap and died as soon as I took it off choke. I kicked it about 20 more times and nada.
Drained some gas out of the bowl (it was about 3 month old ethanol gas) and it was yellow! Not amber, but bright neon yellow...like Mellow Yellow yellow. So...pulled the tank, drained and rinsed it with fresh gas. Pulled the carb and cleaned it too... Everything in the fuel system was bright, neon, F'ing yellow. Wow! Never seen that before.
The closest non-ethanol gas is about 45 mins away, but I made the drive anyway. Got the new gas in and it she fired on the 2nd kick! Ya-hoo!!! I bought 15 gallons of 91 non-ethanol, so I drained all of our machines and filled with the good stuff. I can't believe how hard it is to find real gas in north Texas! Disgusting.
Anyway, here she is in her natural habitat looking at the camera...enjoy.

This has made me a believer in ONLY USING FRESH, NON-ETHANOL GAS FROM HERE ON OUT. Even if I have to drive 1.5 hrs round trip to get real gas. Truly amazing how bad the ethanol laden sh!t is when is degrades. Beware!
Oh...here is a little bonus vid:
This is my 9 yo son shooting a PSA AR-15 (7.62x39) that I built right after Thanksgiving. He has decided that this is now his hog rifle (we have lots of feral pigs) and has basically stolen it from me. This shot is at 50 yds with iron sights shooting at a 3.5"x5" canister of homemade Tannerite. First take, first shot BTW. This kid is dam good with a rifle:
Enjoy...
Edit: anyone know how to upload a video to this site from an iPad ???
Edit 2: YouTube video added.

BTW, that 1 lb of LEGAL homemade Tannerite cost $2.15. Pretty dang cool.
