Does anyone here know the size of the two infamous Philips screws that are on the brake drum? Scooped up an 85 250 Big red Es with no brakes (can any of these machines have working brakes when I buy them?!??)

Anyway, tried the old impact driver method, soaked them in penetrating oil.. Wound up stripping one out and would like to know the size of the screw before I take it a step further and drill the head off the screw... Any help or pointers would be appreciated!:wondering

Had the same thing happen on my SX, which happen to use the same part number as the ES. As of 2013/14 they were still available from Honda, P# 93600-06016-oh

little trick i learned with these old bikes is to take a #2 square head screw driver ( red robinson) and pound it into the phillips screw head with a hammer. works great you can really get a lot of torque on em then.
