I think some of the members wanted a ride repot:

(1) ride at 35 miles:

Flat trails twisty tight woods (had gearing of 12-38 which was too high but it was a guess) No real issues but no power down low and rear shock set too low, rear tires didn't like 3lbs of air pressure also. But it easily went over 55mph.

(1) ride at 30 miles:

Flat rocky trails, wet and try rail road beds, black desert sand riding but it was coal silt. Larger long hills. 4lbs of air pressure in rear tires was the key. raised rear end up with different dog bone and reset up rear shock. Bike handled better and turned nicer. 11-38 gearing woke it up down low, was able to power slide better but it still could be better so i ordered a 40T rear sprocket so i should be spot on for my riding.

Bike is more fun to ride then my banshee was. It seems to turn great, jumps good. I feel a little cramped on it might be due to riding larger machines. It does not do super big hills but i didnt make it for that. I made so my wife could follow me on rail road beds and tight stuff.

3 and 4 gear the thing screams.

talked with a few guys at top of the silt hills and they knew something was up with it but couldn't figure out what is really was due to it being 250r/350x sized.

I like this bike. It is way more fun then any 200x I ever owned and lighter.

That's pretty much exactly what I figured you'd say. My rm80 conversion was the most fun trike I ever had and I greatly regret selling it. Congrats on a job well done

Is that the one that has a Tecate swing arm molded in and has all the rear Tecate stuff? I talked to a guy who was riding a RM conversion.

Thats a cool looking bike. Are you having to run a chain tensioner setup?

Yep. That was Bryan Ditch you were talking to, I sold it to him. Ben Meyer built it and sold it to me. Sorry for the thread hijack. How about some more pics of this trike?

I run no tension-er and just ride as is like all my other atvs. Tensioners are a thing of the past for people who cant tighten a chain.

stock 200x swinger modified for 300ex axle and 450r brake rotor, hub and sprocket gaurd ring. I kept is simple and function-able.

Eric Gorr topend work done.

Actually tensioners at times are required with certain swingarm angles. On a bike with a particular swingarm angle a chain that is tight when static can easily become loose enough to be thrown from the sprocket or so tight that it snaps during the suspension cycle. A tensioner setup is the only way to remedy this issue. If yours works without, that's great. Enjoy the ride.
