200x carb float

in need of some help/advice.
i have an 85 200x autox conversion but im using top end from the x with the x carb
alright will my original question i have solved idk how even but the float isnt sticking anymore

now my problem is that i have the carb set on all stock settings and its idling way too high

i have dg exhaust with normal stock air box

any help would be awesome as im not very good with carburetors yet

operator error. i had the slide level turned in a bit too much... putting it all the way out let it idle ok but my pilot needle is turned out far so i think i do need to move to a larger pilot

Sorry If I missed something here. Set your pilot screw to spec I think 1 3/4 turns out. Then set your idle via the idle screw.

Why is your pilot screw out so far?
