Long story short. 110 was running decent, but needed a tune up. So pulled the plug to check it, it was terrible. I just got this trike so hadnt replaced it yet. But it WAS running. Pulled it out. Cleaned it up a bit. Didnt mess w the gap. Just cleaned it up. Checked spark, has pretty good spark still, put it back in, now it wont run. Any suggestions? Nothing else was touched other than pulling the plug and wiping it off, and using a 800 grit piece of sandpaper and gently cleaning up between the gap. GENTLY.

Buy a new plug.

Take the cap off the wire, snip the rubber back just a bit, and screw the plug cap back on.

Clean your carb.

Ok. Gonna go grab a new plug. Carb is oem, and surgically clean. First thing i did when i got it. Been running it for a week or so since then. Hell, i rode it this morning. Gonna see if the plug does the trick, just figured it was ok bc i still have a pretty fat blue spark

It may or may not help but you asked for suggestions and those are the first things that come to mind.

You said it needed a tune-up, what were the symptoms/reasons for that?

Just figured it was time. 31 yr old bike, people that had it before me werent mechanically inclined AT ALL, so i know they havent done anything on it. Idle was a little erratic, a little down on power. I mean, im 250 and it would still move me decent, but ive ridden other stock 110's that were well taken care of and had more power. So figured id check the plug, adjust the valves, normal tune up stuff. Only got as far as the plug though

Ok, figured out my problem. Somehow, someway, i ended up with a bent intake valve. Idk if i stuck the wrong plug back in it or what before i tried to pull it bc i had a few sitting around in the same area. Which is ok. Because it was going to come apart for a full rebuild anyway. Glad i figure it out. Also, i must be crazy, but when i got the head off and bent intake valve out, there is no valve seal for that valve? So i checked the parts fiche and sure enough theres only a seal on the exhaust valve
