Crushin' her Like nothing
Say what? I thought she got the better of him overall. Listening to the guy for 90 minutes you realize he has a very limited vocabulary and it makes him sound simple when trying to articulate a point. He should have crushed her, she's an easy target and he clean missed his shot. Aside from a few good points at the beginning he was disappointing.

The whole time I was watching it I kept thinking this isn't real, I'm gonna wake up, it's just a bad dream, there's no effing way that one of these two people is actually going to and up being the president of the United States of America.
It's come down to a choice between a lying cunt, and a thieving egomaniac. God help America.

You're right about one thing Nico, it's not real. I had no idea what this thread was about, didn't know what that first post meant at all. If I'd have known this was about the presidential candidacy I'd have never replied. Carry on!

We are witnessing the Peter Principle on a national scale.
The Peter principle is a concept in management theory formulated by Laurence J. Peter and published in 1969. The theory is that the selection of a candidate for a position is based on the candidate's performance in their current role, rather than on abilities relevant to the intended role. Thus, employees only stop being promoted once they can no longer perform effectively, and "managers rise to the level of their incompetence."
I'll be darned, I often say; "He's reached the level of his incompetence." Never knew where it was derived from though. Thanks!

She seemed like a well scripted politician and he came off like your average Joe..........who doesn't like the average Joe to win?
Had to edit......
She's all talk and blustering and no action...no results....never.....just words and talking
Trump's all action and results....not so much talk and blustering.
He's a doer....she's a talker.

Despite me being disappointed by DT's performance, I don't think it will sway the majority of voters. My worry is that the undecided voters will go with the shinier turd…although I do understand that we are watching a career politician who has perfected her performance for years go against a guy who is a cutthroat businessman used to holding all the cards. Hillary had to transform herself into the fake personality that she is today, whereas I believe Trump is just being himself.

Maybe she thinks that if the economy gets bad enough and all major manufacturers take their business elsewhere that it will force us into the "one world economy"…which means one world laws…and who will enforce those laws? The UN? NWO here we come…just give me my cable, FB, I=phone, McDonalds, and Walmart…I'll be a slave, but I'll be a fat and happy slave…
Nah...secure our borders, give incentives for businesses to stay, lower taxes, revert to a darwinistic society…and definitely have a prison island for serious offenders like NZ was back in the day…that'll cut prison spending:)

Literally watching the DVR'ed debate and cringing at her statements on guns and racial inequality…quite obviously manufactured political statements made to gain votes…and for some of us 2A is a way of life…and the people I know who drink her BS Kool-Aid have little or no experience with rural life or firearms. I suppose we have to cater to the lowest common denominators in our society…but that's why things are sooooo great nowadays:rolleyes:

We certainly have no dog in this fight but Canadians are watching closely just the same. What happens there WILL affect us to some degree as well as the rest of the world; folks who think differently have their head in the sand. The only thing I can say from what I've seen and heard is "wtf, who's worse". Here's my view from north of the border:
HC, a career politician with sanitized agendas and speeches to make everyone feel happy: lolly pops and rainbows for everyone! Born a baby boomer and living like an entitled Gen Y = fail on a monumental scale.
DT, I think most gov's could use a grass roots person to shake up the norm and force real change and run their countries like a business. I would think DT's advisors would coach him so he could learn to filter some of his comments and stop pissing off the folks he needs behind him. I know, he's probably saying what most folks have thought at least once in their lives, unfortunately, that's the things people will remember when wavering in the poll booth. Once he's in he can start pushing his agendas when the time is right.
I'm going to make a big bowl of popcorn, drink Canadian beer and watch the election with my door open in case anyone want to defect North; no swimming required!

I work in a very Hillary-friendly place and get grilled for my political stances quite often. I think my short answer to who'll get my vote is this:
I will always side with a candidate that supports the 2nd Amendment. I'm not some gun-nut or a violent man, but the fact is that the 2nd Amendment is the only thing that guarantees all the other Amendments…and without it we are at the will of the Government…after all, "A Government big enough to give you everything you want is also big enough to take away everything that you have." I'm not a DT fan by any means, but he supports the Amendment that is the only system of checks and balances between the people and a tyrannical Government…and he understands that he's supporting laws that could overthrow his Presidency if he doesn't do well…and HRC understands that too; which is why she wants to take that power away from us (speaks to a deeper agenda, huh?)
