Here's my baby. Slicks are on it for road/strip dragging. Needs an extended swinger. They are 22.5" American Racers on 13" Aero rims. They bolted right up to the stock hubs. Got 4 of them for $25 at an auction.

I havent had a chance to jet the thing to get it to run good yet. It wont run off choke and wont throttle up. So I cant really judge it yet. I went with the 140 over the 125 because bigger is always better and the price is hardly any different. Itll probably be a couple weeks until I get a chance to get home and mess with it.

Guess I'll throw my klt into the thread. It wasn't free but it's a great trike and rides nice. I traded a beat up running atc 110 and a decent trizinger for it.

Funny story actually. Went over to my aunt and uncle's place to ride on 1000's of acres and one of my cousins left my helmet on the goose neck we were hauling when we left my place. Got to my aunt and uncle's went to grab my helmet and couldn't find it. I wasn't a happy camper. I had all my go pro equipment ready. I lost my go pro mount and waterproof shell. They were on my helmet. Im looking for a helmet but I'm looking for one specifically that resembles my trike. And as for the rain. You can have most of it. Nothing but hail and downpours for the past week

Probably easier than the H-Trak rear tires, westcoast swinger, and Coffman silencer, not to mention the other gems on that bike. I thought Micky did a run of low pro's for the 3rd gen r's when he did the 4 stroke trikes?

That expansion chamber though. ;)

Great page guys,

I love the 250 conversion into the 200x. It's really neat, and I bet that set up surprises a few unsuspecting 200 owners. It's got pretty mad rear suspension settings, I'm guessing mud holes are a regular for that beast, and drives down the road to get some milk, judging by the mirror.

I also love the green 250sx, a lot! Was that a standard colour scheme? I like how you had your babies loaded up for the fires. Did anyone else in the family get a ticket on the ride as well, or was it ATC's only. Ha ha.

And my personal favourite, the Tecate's. Close to my heart those green meanies

Honda CL250 "scrambler" motorcycle engine. 6 gears ("superlow" plus 5 normal gears),4valve head,e start only.
With the CB250RS cam and a bit bigger carb a tad over 20HP.(Honda said more,but lets be real..lol)
The only real problem:
e start only!And they where known for eating up starter gears,which on egay go for there weight in gold.Just like the FT500 ascot.Same system.
But i just had small problems,it works 90% of the time first and always second try.It took a year but i found a guy that parted his CL250 and gave him 40 for a spare gear.

These are probably some of my favorite 3 wheelers I own. The picture of the 2nd gen 125m is a project that is getting a 250sx front suspension after a previous owner butchered it up by installing a 200 set of forks that had been welded solid. Also, the polaris is my newest addition to my collection

Thanks, I'm a big fan of 86/87 200X. They are agile, make good power and have a 6 speed gear box!

Honda CL250 "scrambler" motorcycle engine. 6 gears ("superlow" plus 5 normal gears),4valve head,e start only.
With the CB250RS cam and a bit bigger carb a tad over 20HP.(Honda said more,but lets be real..lol)
The only real problem:
e start only!And they where known for eating up starter gears,which on egay go for there weight in gold.Just like the FT500 ascot.Same system.
But i just had small problems,it works 90% of the time first and always second try.It took a year but i found a guy that parted his CL250 and gave him 40 for a spare gear.

Back when I was a kid, a guy in the neighborhood used to trail ride the hell out of a CL 250 (if I remember right, it was black and gold?). I was 14 rockin' an XL100 and used to be super jealous of how much power that thing had.

Never in a million years would I consider that engine for a trike motor swap. It looks like it belongs in there! Strong work, and way to bring back some childhood memories for me! :cheers:!

238862238863This is my favorite load from my recent move. This is my ugly $400 truck with an ugly $100 bed. In the bed you can see the rear rack on my 1985 YTM225dx/r. On the trailer is my 1997 KX250, my 1985 ATC350x, my 1983 Autox, and what's left of my freebie 1980 ATC185 after donating to the Autox. On the other side of the trailer is my 1997 Prairie 400, my 1985 ATC250sx with a 200x front end, and my 'survivor" 1980 ATC185 with a 1984 ATC200s gas tank. Not all, but most.

They call em axle paddles. To help in deep mud/snow/ruts from high centering on the axle. The fourtrax guys on highlifter get into it a bunch
