View Full Version : ATC 250ES Big Red...how to remove rear fender black trim pieces?

Bought a parts 250ES trike over the weekend, and was surprised to see the black trim pieces on the rear fenders still intact. Actually, I was even more blown away to see it had both side covers still on (yes, even the infamous "always missing" right side), in very good condition. At any rate, my question is...does anyone know how those black trim pieces are mounted to the fenders? I want to remove them so I can put them on my other 250ES. The hardware the trim pieces are mounted with are rusted, so it's hard to tell if they're small bolts/nuts, rivets, ??? I suppose I'll just drill them out, but perhaps someone's removed them before and can provide some insight?

There are clips that just slip on except the one on one end. If they are all there I will buy them from you if you don't need them Don't drill them. They are as scarce as hens teeth

Thanks hublake...I do remember seeing those clips, but didn't realize that's what's holding the trim on. They weren't rusty so hopefully I can take the trim off easy enough and transfer on to my other ES.
Thanks again for your help:beer
