I am looking for a spring for the foot brake for my 87 tecate. Is there any that would interchange from anything else? Also whats the best place to buy replacement bolts and such for my build?

What bolts do you need? I may have an extra spring, the small parts are the hardest to find.

If you had one that would be awesome! I was just going to replace shroud, air box, headlight bracket and some others with new bolts. The ones I have are a little rusty. I thought maybe there was a good place to buy replacement bolts cheap. Its about 50 dollars in just the air box, head light and tank shrouds on 2wheelpros website for new ones.

I just looked through my spares and could not find any springs. Mabey you can use one off a kx250?

You can soak them in oxalic acid to remove all the rust then paint them the color you want or get them replated . 1 lb or 2 cups of oxalic acid per gallon of water will clean them in around 24 hours . Neutralize acid with around 1/4 cup of baking soda or soda ash per gallon of acid mix and soak bolts in that for 5 minutes or save the acid in a plastic milk carton or clean anti freeze bottle etc for later use and soak the bolts in 1/4 cup per gallon of water for 5 minutes after removing them from the acid.

i think there is spring off 1984 kx250 that works...cross reference the part number.

those springs are hard to find.
