Hey does the 250SX have a sticker up on top of the frame that says the year it was made ? The only sticker I see is on the left frame tube going down where it says the year but that's it. Any feedback would be appreciated237356.

If you grab the VIN, post it up here or go find one of those online decoders. It will contain the year of manufacture.
10th character is the year.
E=1984
F=1985
G=1986
H=1987

Here is the engine serial number information:

Google search turned this up for VIN Decoding:
http://www.atvstyle.com/atv-vin-number
Check out this link. Page 3 describes what the parts of a Honda VIN mean:
http://www.kb0nly.info/ATC/index.php?dir=ATC350X%2F&download=85-86_ATC350X_Parts_Fiche.pdf
For Example:
JH3TE0421GM107039
"JH3" means it is a Honda All Terrain Vehicle manufactured in Japan
"TE042" is a vehicle description code (guessing this means 250SX in your case)
"1" is a check digit. This is just an error checking digit and its value depends on the other values contained in the VIN, and is determined based on a set of rules.
"G" is your year (1986 in this case)
"M" is the vehicle assembly plant, M in this case refers to Hamamatsu factory in Japan
"107039" is the sequential production number (serial number).
