Simple Rack Question

Does the entire rear rack assembly including the gate that opens up over the trunk of a 200e , bolt seemlessly onto a 200es? The model year in question is 1984.

I had a major mishap this hunting season, and long story short, i need a new rear rack. I have found a couple nice complete rear racks for 200e's . But nothing for an ES , so before i buy i just wanted to make sure. No matter how much googling i do i cant find a clear answer, just some contradictory old posts around the interwebs.

I know that the 200m and 200ES and 200e are the same mounts.

I have what I believe is a 200es rear rack in decent shape for you. Christmas special too! PM me if interested.

OK the bad news, they are not 200es racks that I have. The good news is that they appear to be the same mounts as the BR 200es but the rack itself is not as wide. So that may have answered your original question. I placed one of them on my BR rack and mount wise they look compatible.
