A little while ago I was riding my 250r around and it just stopped like it lost spark and i couldnt get it started after that I checked the spark and im pretty sure it didnt have spark since then its been a few months since other things got in the way, so I started playing with it today again and i checked for spark and it had spark which was weird so I cleaned the carby drained the fuel and put new fuel in and tried to start it but it still wont go no sign of life at all the plug is wet and it has spark i checked the reeds and they look ok although i dont know what bad reeds look like, where should i look next??
thanks guys

have you checked compression yet, if it is too low it will never start, even with fuel and spark.

It was rebuilt before I got it ive only done about 3 tanks since I ran it in, compression should be good

Might be bad gas. I've left my bike in the rain and then it wouldnt start. Drained all the fuel, put fresh fuel in and it fired.

Check compression.
I had one die soon after a rebuild, replaced coil, plug, cdi, and turned out to be wrong piston-bore clearance. piston was destroyed. I was riding and it just died and wouldn't start again.

A cheap check.....put a new spark plug in it. I messed around with a bike of mine for a couple hours and couldn't get it to start. It was getting fuel and had spark but wouldn't fire. I finally replaced the spark plug and it ran first crank!
