well here is the 350x conversion i bought from someone(you know who you are 8) ) anywhy i had planned on using my 350x as a doner bike but decided to just go and find all the parts here there and anywhere. so far i bought a frame with front forks triple tree, complete swingarm less hubs. 200xman donated the rear hubs so far. might be getting his old engine too.. if i can butter him up enough hehe. but i figure get the conversion up and running myself and 200xman will ride it and that will be one more bike under our belts that we can say we rode. anyway please dont give me too much hell. i bought the bike like this and did not do the conversion myself. but it was done so i figured might as well use it. enjoy. feel free to comment :-P

Mike,

Looking good. Are you going to do a ground up. I think it would be worth it.

You have a real good base to start with.

That actually looks like a pretty good conversion. Is that a blaster front suspension? What are you going to do with that trx front plastic? I would like to get it if you are going to sell it. Thanks, and good luck with your project. Kaysen

I recognize the A-Arms. Its an Astro kit. You might want to check out my thread in Quad central (which is probably where this should be) on my Quad-Z conversion to see how I got around the front brake problems.

Also, I dont know your motor status on this, but if you dont have a good motor or the money for the expensive 350X motor, you may want to consider a 300EX motor. Theyre a little easier to come by, and fit in a normal 350X frame fairly easily. I think the 250X is probably about the same. They obvious wont deliver like the 350X motor, but if money is an issue, its a good way to go.

more then likly ill be getting the motor from 200xmans 350x. here got a new take out and offered the motor to me. i dont know if i would restore it.i just want to make it ridable and stopable lol i figure the bike will be just as good as my 350x trike. i am a pretty good quad rider. better then a three wheeler but if i could have the same power as my 350x in a quad i would have the best of both worlds.

the biggest reason i want to do this is there is a local orginazation that does not allow three wheeler. they say that they were the cause of why all bikes were almost stopped bla bla bla i just want to take the conversion to their track and race around and just be different. otherwise it will be ridden then sold.

does anyone know if i can still get parts for the conversion kit? also it looks like a suzuki front end not sure though.

I got the KLT 110 running last weekend. I still need a fuel valve and to go tthrough the carb, but at least it didn't make any strange noises. Should be a fun beater. I still have less than $200 into it including what I paid for it.
