The spring is nearing, and the kiddo is ready for a bit more zip on the Zinger. I'm looking at aftermarket pipes for them & I simply can't overlook the length of the DG offering. I stumbled across this photo bucket link: http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s221/Blokhead1/DGZinger.jpg from an old 3WW post, which links to the picture below, but no further comment on the pipe. Anyone familiar with "Blokhead1" the owner of the photo bucket account?

Is this a viable change to the DG pipe to shorten the length without much of a compromise on performance?
I know Jemco has made the Zinger pipes in the past, but I have been unable to find a picture of one installed. Is anyone familiar with the fit and design of these pipes?

I have 2 of the DG pipes for the tri zinger. They are long but work awesome, theres no need to modify the pipe. The one you posted looks much different than the DG pipes I have.
You will want to upgrade the stock steel reeds with Boyseen reeds for sure. The pipe and reeds make it a whole lot more zip for sure.
Here are a few pics of my zingers:

Here's the info on the 70cc tri zinger top end kits. I have not tried swapping the carb out for a bigger one, but it may help with some gains.

I've been looking at the 70cc top end kits, I've got the bookmarked on treatland.com for when the time comes. I figure until that time comes, we'll just let the Zinger grow fast as my son gets more comfortable & older.
