engine powder coating is it worth it and does it last? I have tried several attempts and no matter how much prep work that goes into it I have tried several painting attempts with exhaust paint header paint high temp paint and BBQ paint any help would be great!

Yes, powder holds up on cases. Ceramic coat your exhaust for a more durable finish

I powder coated my 110cc cylinder. Haven't run it yet, but to powder coat you have to heat it up to 350 degrees. I would hope your engine is running cooler then that. :)

I powder coated my engine 6 years ago & it still looks good. My pipe had a fresh ceramic finish there too, some parts had powder coated chrome too.

Is that chrome powder coat on the engine?! That looks awesome if it is. What brand did you use? do you happen to have a link to it? =)

No, I had some of the aluminum polished by GKINGPOLISHING. I had my triples, rear axle & carrier powdered chrome...and the front tire powdered chrome.
Oh yea my clutch actuator arm was mistakenly powdered red, they tried to reblast the red off and powder it chrome
.... The red still shows thru some :/
